For the screen sharing function to work on MacOS devices, permission needs to be enabled for Google Chrome to record screen. Here’s how you can enable permissions for screen sharing.
１. Open the System Preferences App.
- Click on Security & Privacy.
- Click on the Privacy tab (top right), and scroll down on the left to find Screen Recording.
4. You may first need to click the lock in the bottom-left corner to be able to make changes to your settings.
5. On the right, enable permissions by ticking the checkbox for Google Chrome to record screen.
You may get a prompt to quit Chrome in order for the changes to take effect.
A reboot of your computer may also be required.
