Share What You See/Write/Draw/Make in Real Life with Visualiser

Share what you are looking at in real life or writing/drawing on paper with ClassDo's unique mobile visualiser! In order to use the visualiser tool, you must enter the room under  Work with others

Within the virtual room, all room members can use the visualiser at the same time during Collaboration Sync and Collaboration Unsync modes, regardless of their roles in the organisation. However, during Presentation mode, only room member(s) with the admin right to toggle the collaboration/sync modes will be able to use the visualiser.

Before proceeding with the steps below, please ensure your tablet/mobile devices meet the minimum technical requirements for ClassDo.

Why is my visualiser not working?

1

Download a QR code Scanner (Android)

For iPhone users, please use your phone camera instead. DO NOT use a third party QR code scanner app.

If you are using an Andriod phone, we recommend downloading this QR Code scanner from Google Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.zxing.client.android&hl=en.

2

Enable the Visualiser Tool

In the room, click Tools. Please switch on visualiser on your computer, not your mobile device, as your mobile device will need to scan the QR code produced on-screen.

Under the Visualiser Column, click the Slider to turn on the visualiser tool.

After turning on the visualiser tool, a unique QR code will be generated for you to scan.

3

Scanning the QR code

For iPhone devices, please open your camera to scan the QR code. For Android devices, please open your QR code scanner application to scan the QR code.
4

Opening the Link

For iPhones, please open the link using Safari.

For Android devices, please open the link using Google Chrome. DO NOT use other web browsers to open the link. If your phone automatically opens the link in a different browser, close the browser. Open a tab in Google Chrome and copy and paste the URL into it.

After opening the link in Safari/ Chrome, the phone is now an external visualiser for the virtual classroom! It might take a few minutes to render the page, please give it a moment to load.

Visualiser can also be used in landscape mode.  Tilting your phone will cause the visualiser to change to the respective orientation automatically (if you have auto rotate on your mobile device).

5

Take a Photo

To upload any physical work you have, you can choose to click Screen Shot   and the photo will be automatically taken and uploaded to the virtual room.
6

Stop Using the Visualiser

To stop using visualiser, click Tools, then click on the slider under Visualiser to switch it off.
