Share What You See in Real Life

Share what you are looking at in real life with the visualiser! It is a hassle-free way to share your physical work with room members in a few easy steps. Visualiser can be used in both portrait and landscape orientations.

Please note that the visualiser tool can only be used in Live Collaboration mode with Videochat.

Before proceeding with the steps below, please ensure your tablet/mobile devices meet the minimum technical requirements for ClassDo.

1

Download a QR code Scanner (Android)

For iPhone users, please use your phone camera instead. DO NOT use a third party QR code scanner app.

Go to Play Store to install a QR Code scanner application if your Android device is currently lacking one.

2

Enable the Visualiser Tool

In the live collaboration room, click Tools. Please switch on visualiser on your computer, not your mobile device, as your mobile device will need to scan the QR code produced on-screen. Please also note that the visualiser tool will NOT work in library mode.

Under the Visualiser Column, click the Slider to turn on the visualiser tool.

After turning on the visualiser tool, a unique QR code will be generated for you to scan.

3

Scanning the QR code

For iPhone devices, please open your camera to scan the QR code. For Android devices, please open your QR code scanner application to scan the QR code.
4

Opening the Link

For iPhone devices, please open the link using Safari.

For Android devices, please open the link using Google Chrome. DO NOT use other web browsers to open the link.

After opening the link in Safari/Chrome, the phone is now an external visualiser for the virtual classroom! It might take a few minutes to render the page, please give it a moment to load.

5

Take a Photo

To upload any physical work you have, you can choose to click Take A Photo  and the photo will be automatically taken and uploaded to the virtual room.
Visualiser can also be used in landscape mode.  Tilting your phone will cause the visualiser to change to the respective orientation automatically (if you have not switched off auto rotate on your mobile device).
6

Stop Using the Visualiser

To stop using visualiser, click Tools, then click on the slider under Visualiser to switch it off.
