In this article:

1

Create a Typepad

If you do not have permission to "Create a new tab" in the room, you will see a message that only the room host can open new tabs. You will not be able to see a '+' icon after tapping the menu button. You can only open new tabs in your desk. Click the desk icon to create new content in your desk instead.

Tap the nine squares menu button at the top left corner, then tap the '+' icon at the bottom of the screen.

Select Type under New.

2

Name the Typepad

You can name or rename your textpads by tapping the Additional options button (three-dot icon).

Then type in the name of the textpad in the textbox below Content name. You can also rename others' textpads.

3

Open Previous Textpads

Tap the nine squares  menu button at the top left corner, then tap the '+' icon at the bottom of the screen.

Similar to previously, if you do not have permission to "Create a new tab" in the room, you will not see a '+' icon after tapping the menu button. You can only open new tabs in your desk.

Select the textpad you would like to open.

You can also search for a particular typepad by tapping the filter icon next to the searchbar and selecting Type. Only typepads will be displayed.

You can also search the name of the typepad by typing in the name into the searchbar.

4

Delete the Typepad

You can delete your typepads by tapping the  Additional options button (three-dot icon).

Then select  Delete content. Note that this option will only appear if you are the one who created the typepad, or you have the right to "Delete any content/ sketchpad/ typepad/ poll/ recording".
