Create a New Typepad

To use this tutorial, you need to be in the Organisation Screen. The associated controls are at the right of the screen. However, you can also create typepads in the virtual room.

On the room homepage, click on  View Content Library to visit the content library for a particular room.

Alternatively, you may locate and click on Content Library on the left sidebar and locate the room folder to access the contents within the room.

Select the folder which you would like to create the typepad in. Before creating the typepad, you may want to check if you wish to create it in the room library, in a group or on your personal desk.

Click on Type on the right panel.

Alternatively, click on the New button.

Select Type from the list of options given in the dropdown.

This will open up an empty typepad in a content editor.

You can click on the back button to return to the content library.

2

Name the Typepad

To rename the typepad, simply click on the file name to toggle the input field. You can name your typepad by typing in the text box. When you are done renaming, simply press  enter/return on your keyboard or click anywhere outside the input field.

You can also rename typepads from the content library. Locate the typepad from the list of files in the content library and click on the  Additional options button (three-dot icon) to the right of the file name.

Select Rename from the list of options available in the dropdown.

When you are done renaming, click on the Update button.

You can also rename others' typepads.

3

Open an Existing Typepad

Locate the typepad from the list of files in the content library. Typepad files are denoted by a keyboard icon.

If there are many files in the content library, you can use the search bar to help you locate the typepad more quickly.

You can also search for typepads by tapping the  filter icon next to the search bar and selecting Type. Only typepads will be displayed.

4

Delete a Typepad

To delete the typepad that you are currently viewing, click the vertical  arrow icon on the right of the file name in the content editor.

Then, click on Delete content on the dropdown.

Confirm your deletion of the typepad by clicking on Delete in the popup.

Alternatively, you can also delete the typepad from the content library. Click on the  Additional options button (three-dot icon) to the right of the file name.

In the dropdown shown, select Delete content.

Confirm your deletion of the typepad by clicking on the Delete button in the popup.

Note that you can only delete typepads that you have created yourself, unless you are the organisation owner or you have the admin rights to delete typepads created by others.
