Upload and Open Content in the Content Library (Mobile)
This article is for organisation owners, admins, or members with admin permissions e.g. tutors. If you are a general user of ClassDo, please refer to this article.
Upload documents such PDF files and images to enhance communication and work on projects together in the virtual room. You can also create typepads or sketchpads, or upload the link of a YouTube video to watch it together in the room.
Note: As an organisation owner/admin, your role permissions allow you to create new tabs to upload files into the Room Library. For your other rooms members who have roles that do not allow them to Rename create/upload any content in the main room without host approval, they will not be able to create new tabs to upload files into the Library. They can only upload files into their desks.
In this article:
Log into ClassDo and click on View Content Library on the room homepage.
Alternatively, you may click on the three-bar icon located on the top left corner of the room homepage.
Click on Content Library.
Locate the room folder to access the contents within the room.
Select the folder which you would like to upload the documents in. Before uploading the document, you may want to check if you wish to upload it into the room library, groups or in your personal desk. This is just to keep the library more organised for you when you are looking for the files later.
Click on the + button located on the bottom right corner.
Select PDF/Image from the menu.
Tap Select files to open the system file explorer to select a file.
Opening Documents from the Library
Note that the supported file types for upload are .png, .jpg, .pdf and .gif. Microsoft office files e.g. Word documents, Powerpoint slides, Excel sheets (.doc, .ppt, .excel etc.) are not supported. You can first convert them into PDF files before uploading.
To remove a selected file, click on the cross icon. You are able to upload multiple files at once.
When you are ready, tap Upload to upload the files into the library.
If your file size is larger than 100Mb, you will not be able to upload your file. Please check out this article to reduce your file size.
Then tap Close. The newly uploaded file will be automatically opened in the content editor. It will retain the original name of the file which was uploaded.
You can click on the back button to return to the content library.
Locate and click on the file from the list of files in the content library.
You can search for a particular file by clicking and typing the file's name into the search bar.
You can also filter the files that are shown by clicking the
filter icon at the right end of the search bar.

When you are done, click on the Apply button. The search results will update automatically with the new filter criteria. Only PDF/Image will be displayed.
