Create a Sketchpad in the Content Library (Mobile)


This article is for general users of ClassDo e.g. students. If you are an organisation owner, admin, or member with admin permissions e.g. tutor, please refer to this article.

ClassDo's virtual room comes with its own virtual whiteboard! With Sketch, share what you draw and write with everyone in the room. Feel free to jot down workings or draw models and graphs while you learn!

Creating a Sketch



Log into ClassDo and click on View Content Library on the room homepage

Alternatively, you may click on the three-bar icon located on the top left corner of the room homepage. Click on Content Library and locate the room folder to access the contents within the room.

Select the  folder which you would like to create the sketchpad in. Before creating the sketchpad, you may want to check if you wish to create it in the room library, a group or on your own personal desk.

Click on the button located on the bottom right corner.


Select Sketch from the menu.

This will open an empty sketchpad in the content editor.

You can click on the back button to return to the content library.

Naming the Sketch

To rename the sketchpad, simply click on the  file name to toggle the input field. You can name your sketchpad by typing in the text box. When you are done renaming, press enter/return on your keyboard or click anywhere outside the input field.

Alternatively, click on the Additional options  button (three-dot icon) to the right of the file name.

On the menu, click   Rename. You can name your sketchpad by typing in the text box in the popup.

When you are done renaming your sketchpad, click on Update.

You can also rename sketchpads from the content library. Locate the sketchpad from the list of files in the content library and click on the  Additional options button (three-dot icon) to the right of the file name. 

Select Rename  from the list of options available in the menu.

When you are done renaming, click on the  Update button.

Opening Previous Sketches


Locate and click on the sketchpad from the list of files in the content library.

You can also search the name of the sketchpad by typing in the name into the search bar.

You can also search for a particular sketchpad by tapping the filter icon next to the search bar and selecting  Sketch.

When you are done, click on the Apply button. The search results will update automatically with the new filter criteria. Only sketchpads will be displayed.

Deleting the Sketch


You can delete your sketchpads by tapping the  Additional options button (three-dot icon).

Then, select  Delete content. Note that this option will not appear if you are not the one who created the sketchpad, or you do not have the right to "Delete any content in the main room (does not apply to desks and groups)".

If you are sure you want to delete the sketchpad, tap  Delete. If you have decided not to delete the sketchpad, tap Cancel.

Alternatively, you can also delete the sketchpad from the content library. Click on the  Additional options button (three-dot icon) to the right of the file name.

In the menu shown, select  Delete content.

Confirm your deletion of the sketchpad by clicking on the  Delete button in the popup.

If the sketch is created by someone else, you will  not be able to delete the content unless you have admin rights to delete any content.
