1. Self-Intro

Start off with a warm welcome by sending everyone to gallery view, and letting the room members do a short self-intro if it’s a new class or they are meeting for the first time. This encourages members to speak out and participate actively during the live session.

2. Check in with everyone via a Quick Poll

To do a quick check-in on how everyone is feeling at the start of the session, or kickstart engagement on the topic of the day, consider doing a quick poll (as shown below). Choose from a variety of poll types, including mood poll and multiple choice. to suit your purpose.

3. Share poll result

You might want to share the results of the quick poll with everyone in the session. Take a snippet of the poll result and paste it on a sketchpad (whiteboard) for everyone to view.
